Clarification on the Temporary Card Process

The Dancer may use the Temporary Card for 14 days from the date of issue and MUST return the:

1. Temporary Card
2. Original Card
3. Registration form filled out with original signatures
4. Photograph (if a new card is being issued)
5. Fee
6. Self Addressed Envelope to their regional registrar.

Remember, any stamp gained during the 14 days must be registered in one of the boxes on the Temporary Card.

The exception with Novice to Intermediate is you must include an exact date for the Intermediate year to start, and it does not need to be IMMEDIATELY following the last stamp. The dancer may hold their own card or send to your area registrar to hold until they determine a date for the start of the Intermediate year.  A Form must be sent.  A typed or hand written note is NOT acceptable.

If you have a dancer who gets his/her last stamp and then wants to compete the following weekend or within a short time, contact the registrar to notify them of your immediate needs.  It would help if the teacher would also let the registrar know about the rush. In the new process introduced this year, a rush should not be all that necessary.  Organizers have a form that will serve as a temporary card for the next competition.

Thanks so much, hopefully this will clarify any questions you may have regarding the Temporary Card and how it works.  Any questions,  please contact me or your local registrar at anytime.
